Our mission

Terra Seismic is a satellite Big Data, AI, Deep Tech, and media company providing short-, mid-, and long-term earthquake prediction services, offering new solutions to help mitigate earthquake and tsunami risks in more than one hundred countries. The company has developed, and continues to enhance, its own highly valuable global earthquake prediction technology.

Terra Seismic can predict most strong earthquakes (M6.2 or greater) at least one to five years before they occur. Our technology has been used to retrospectively analyze data collected since 1970, and our systems successfully detected approximately 90% of all significant earthquakes over the past 55 years. In other words, the earthquake prediction problem has been solved.

Today, earthquakes strike without warning, resulting in massive loss of life and hundreds of billions in material damage. However, because the forces that cause earthquakes are well understood in geophysics, earthquakes can be successfully predicted, enabling preparations that minimize destruction and human casualties.

Our mission is to further advance our global earthquake prediction technologies and deploy our systems across all earthquake-prone countries. We have both the capacity and the vision to build a New Earth — a world where earthquakes still occur but no longer claim human lives, and where property damage is efficiently insured.
